A little about this painting and my inspiration: The Amish farmer working his fields, was painted from a reference photo that my wife, Wini, took while we visited Lancaster, PA in the Spring of 2024.  We were fortunate to stay at an Airbnb located in the heart of Amish farmlands.  Lancaster has always been one of my favorite places to visit because the farmlands and smells remind me so much of my childhood and my time spent at and around my Grand Parents farm.  When I was a kid, I’d often take my bicycle and ride across the railroad tracks and down the old dirt road to my Grand Parents farm in Rosedale, MD.  Many of my cherished childhood memories were made there.  I hope you enjoy this painting.
