I painted this composition as a commemorative watercolor, blending the past and present into a single, soaring tribute to the American spirit. A powerful bald eagle sweeps across the painting, its wings catching bright sky as it carries the Declaration of Independence—a living reminder of the ideals first set to parchment in 1776. To the right of it, Revolutionary War soldiers advance with determination, their historic flag rising through the battlefield haze. The modern American flag unfurls boldly above, linking the courage of the early patriots to the nation that endures 250 years later. This composition honors sacrifice, resilience, and the unbroken thread of liberty that binds generations across time.
