Artist’s First Painting
Artist’s First Painting
$5,000.00
My first “real” painting” was completed in 1976 from a postcard that I purchased in Germany while in the Navy. I keep this painting, titled “Artist’s First Painting”, as a reminder of where I began. Some of my early influences were paintings by Winslow Homer and other master painters. For a learning experience, I painted “Dressing for the Carnival” and “Long Branch New Jersey”, after American Painter, Winslow Homer.
This is the first painting, in acrylics, that i produced in 1976 prior to any formal training.
The original painting is 16” x' 20”
